MESO QuickPlex SQ 120 (Meso Scale Discovery)

Description

The MESO QuickPlex SQ 120 uses Meso Scale Discovery’s MULTI-ARRAY technology, enabling the detection of a wide range of biomarkers in simplex or multiplex format using the latest generation of electrochemiluminescence detection. This unique technology allows the quantification of up to 10 analytes per well, significantly reducing the sample volume required.

Commissioned in 2017.

Applications

• Detection of biomarkers such as cytokines (cf. the list of analytes quantifiable in simplex or multiplex using the MSD system)

Quantification can be performed on human or murine biological fluids, as well as on cell culture samples.

Requirements / Constraints

• Some sample types have not been validated by MSD R&D and therefore require preliminary testing (detection and dilution).
• Services are limited to analytes for which kits are already available. Development of new MSD assays is possible but requires significant optimization and must be part of a large-scale R&D project.
