Proteome Pole of Montpellier

Explore our platform and its various features in detail

PPM : Presentation

The Proteome Pole of Montpellier (PPM) is one of the platforms of the BioCampus Montpellier Research Support Unit and brings together the technological capabilities for proteomic analysis in Montpellier and the surrounding area.

Expertise in various fields of proteomics

We implement all types of medium‑ and high‑throughput proteomics approaches, and our expertise covers most current proteomics technologies, including:

  • Preparation of biological samples (purification, separation and prefractionation) for proteomic analyses
  • Large‑scale quantitative proteomics (with or without labeling)
  • Targeted quantitative proteomics, especially for biomarker validation
  • Study of post‑translational modifications such as phosphorylations and ubiquitinations
  • Study of protein–protein and protein–ligand interactions (e.g., AP‑MS)
  • Bioinformatics and biostatistics analysis of data with internationally referenced tools

Quality

The PPM platform, ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2015, ensures reliable, traceable, and internationally compliant proteomic analyses, while guaranteeing confidentiality and the valorization of results.

Member of the national infrastructure ProFI and IBiSA certified

PPM : Site FPP (IGF)

The Functional Proteomics Platform (FPP), specialized in high‑resolution mass spectrometry, offers cutting‑edge technologies and expertise dedicated to protein identification, protein quantification, differential analysis (with or without labeling), and protein partner discovery. The platform is also equipped with a mass spectrometer dedicated to structural proteomics, enabling the study of protein–protein and protein–ligand interactions as well as their structural dynamics under native conditions.
